They both have a pure love story. The main characters are somewhat scary on the outside but have a really pure heart, and they also value their friends a lot. Both shows are really cute and funny at times.
Both have a creepy looking and always misunderstood main character who's actually a nice person on the inside. Kimi ni Todoke took a much slower route for the main pair to get together and has more typical shoujo drama but if you like the comedy in Ore Monogatari (often coming from the hilarious antics of the main character), you'd probably like KnT too.

Both are incredibly sweet shoujo series with a lovable main couple. The art style of both feature soft, pastel colours and is really nice to watch. Besides a great romance between the two main characters, they have strong friendships with side characters.

Kimi ni Todoke and Ore Monogatari are similar for the sheer impenetrability both main couples have to rumours and malicious intent. They're both extremely sweet couples that have loyal, true friends backing them from evert corner. Their love for each other never wavers, and they never turn their attention to someone else. From a person's standpoint who has just recently gotten into watching anime on a regular basis, anime that involves two people that devotedly, and innocently love each other in the way that the two main couples do from these shows is rare among the romantic genre of anime.

The same type of innocent love and misunderstandings that occur in Kimi Ni Todoke occur in Ore Monogatari!! Things happen more quickly in Ore Monogatari!!, which is refreshing. It's just as funny and sweet. They each stand on their own, but if you loved Kimi Ni Todoke, you'll also love Ore Monogatari!!
Both animes are full of positive emotions and are about people who are really really kind, but can be misunderstood sometimes. It's about growing up and learning to understand other people and opposite gender.
Also, it can be said that both of these animes will have you going kya or at least make your day by being so cute
Both series involve a love-story between two 'pure' teenagers. Development and pacing (and a little bit of humor) are similar for these two series.
Just do a gender swap between the mc, also kimi ni todoke has a bit more drama
Slow-moving love story between two innocent types. I'd say My Love Story was more rewarding.
If you want something cute, pure, and sweet to watch like My Love Story then you’re bound to like Kimi Ni Todoke. Both have likeable characters and make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Kimi ni Todoke and My Love Story are the cutest fluffiest romance series I've ever found. Their atmospheres are very similar, and they are both high school romance series.
Both series have very innocent but dense main characters in Takeo and Sawako. They both fall in love with very wholesome people in Yamato and Kazehaya. Both Sawako and Takeo have very sweet and supportive friends who play a major role in the story.
Plotwise, Kimi ni Todoke and My Love Story aren't particularly similar, since Kimi ni Todoke is more about the characters getting together, while My Love Story is more about the characters dating. However, they
