Serve with large helpings of big bounties, boisterous badasses, and buxom babes and you get 24 episodes of action packed sexually frustrated hilarity known simply as "Desert Punk"

Both animes have: - Post apocalyptic future desert setting - Silly main characters who are very good at what they do when they get serious - Lots of very great gunfighting scenes - Very funny comedic elements sewn into each episode - Episodic format that weaves and builds up to the main plot - Good plots that are more complex than first meets the eye - Both have very good and polished english dubs (Usually i do subs but I'd HIGHLY recommend both in english for the best comedic elements to shine) Differences: - Desert Punk is generally a more raunchy show and the characters are far more merciless. Both are in this type of desert world, and both main characters travel around. From each episode there's a new story. Both series have guns in them and are action packed. Also the main characters are very comedic.

The two take place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where the action scenes consist of amazing gun fights. If you liked Lawrence D. Wolfwood then you may like the Punk but be warned, he is a little more merciless than Wolfwood.

Both anime have the same post-apocalyptic desert setting. They also consist of a goofy, comedic, and nearly unbeatable main character. The only exception is Desert Punk doesn't have a immense background as Vash does. But other than that both anime are pretty much the same.

Both are set in a post apocalyptic desert setting with horny, gun wielding juggernauts as their protagonists that are constantly down on their luck. Though both share similar elements they both end up going in different directions. Trigun tries to preach pacifism and shows the difficulties that come with it while Sunabouzu supports selfish mercilessness and the type of person that that makes you.

Desert based background, with a high intelligence gun wielder. The protagonists are scary accurate, with a strategy already in play before the battle starts and before the watcher realizes. Strong female characters.
