Brave Story

Haru and Wataru both encounter problems associated with living a normal human life, and they eventually both find escape and a chance to mature and change their lives in fantasy worlds which are hidden seamlessly in their realities. Brave story focuses on more distressing and mature issues, yet both have their lighthearted moments.
The artwork is also very similar, largely centered on bright colours and fluid background which pop out at you.
They also both feature cute, anthropomorphized cats, which is always wonderful!
