Packed to the brim with action and suspense, anyone looking for something vigorating and thought-provoking to watch should definitely give either Steamboy or Zankyou no Terror a try.
After re-watching both anime I was still noticing nuances and details I had missed before.
While Zankyou no Terror is set in the near future and is focused on terrorist attacks in tokyo, with a government cospiracy behind them, Steamboy is set in Steampunk Victorian England and portrays the greed of humans in the form of a mechanical invention that got out of hand.
