Both shows follow a character where they're unlucky with their careers and along the way, have resolved themselves to go on a journey around Japan.
Though one has its unique extremities due to the circumstances, discounting a zombie apocalypse; both shows do a great job at showing the beauty of Japan and it's tourist locale during their travels.
Zatsu Tabi is significantly more Iyashikei and showcases Japan in a more mundane way and goes out of its way to go in depth in the psyche of a modern day traveller.
If you like shows that dabble on Japan tourism, you'll enjoy both of these shows.
