Both anime are about teams of schoolgirls playing baseball. Cinderella Nine takes a modern approach to the topic, with it taking place in the present, whereas Taishou Yakyuu Musume takes place in the 1920s. The 1920s setting does actually play a role in Taishou Yakyuu Musume's story, but the two shows are still very similar despite of that major league difference. Both anime feature underdog girls school baseball teams growing and competing with a dose of non-direct sports offerings as well. If you liked one you should check out the other as they're both about schoolgirls playing baseball.
