Both series are very text heavy, and dialogue driven. Bakemonogatari, however, delivers this phonemically, Sasami-san takes a different approach at it. Sasami-san is based around a neet, where as Bakemonogatari is supernatural.

Both directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and produced by Shaft, these series draw you in with a blend of satire, oddball characters, and self-conscious, deadpan humour, characteristic of Akiyuki's work.
There both chaotic and crazy and have epic fight scenes <3 o yeah and just SHAFT

Same art style and story line (apparitions causing trouble for girls).
Both have a slice of life fun feel while still having well developed characters and plot.
These to both give an interesting look on the supernatural and gives of the same vibes. The characters are mostly girls that has obtained the supernatural in different ways.
