While SHINEPOST doesn't include a wild time-travel premise like Paripi Koumei (AKA Ya Boy Kongming), both series focus on the way the music industry and idol culture impact young artists. Nanami in Paripi Koumei and the girls in SHINEPOST have a lot in common. Managers with special, nigh supernatural skills are also featured in both series.
Both titles also have similar positive vibes and well-written drama populated by loveable characters, all brought to life with stellar animation and great music. The series share the same DNA, even if SHINEPOST isn't quite as high-concept as Paripi Koumei.
