Both feature protagonists who are reincarnated as a side character into a story that they know well. They both use their knowledge in interesting ways to change the story's plot and attempt to escape death.

They're both otome isekais where a girl gets isekaied to a story she read/played before and she knows she's fated to die so she tries to avoid that fate by getting close with a bad guy in the story.

In both stories, we have girls who fall in love with powerful men who initially come across as jerks but are actually misunderstood and kind-hearted. In both cases, the girls take advantage of these men in their stories. However, the execution in Raeliana is much better than that in 'I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss.' Although Raeliana reminds me of Shirayuki with Red Hair.
