Both anime feature nonhuman characters in a death-related setting who meet a large variety of characters that help them grasp the nature of humanity and death. They both are also very stylish in presentation and, while it's mostly dark, can vary wildly in tone

I just can't stop but think that Death Parade is somewhat identical to Casshern Sins. The ending gives me the Casshern Sins vibes, where the music has a kind of isolated melody. Also, both are made by the same studio, Madhouse. Both Death Parade and Casshern Sins are highly psychological and most of the show has an episodic feel to it. Though Death Parade moves on a stirring pace, Casshern Sins is a much more slower and prolonged series. If you enjoyed Death Parade there is a brief chance you may like Casshern Sins as well.

Both of these Anime deeply analyze death and life as well as the meaning or lack there of in both. Casshern Sins is an older anime so it's animation isn't as good as Death Parade's, but the story is certainly intriguing enough to hold ones attention even if it takes longer to form. I would recommend this anime to anyone who has an interest in the psychological reasons behind a characters motivations.
