Both have very dark supernatural plots where many people die and the protagonist tries to solve the mystery behind those deaths. While Kuroshitsuji focus on comedy, drama and demons, Shiki focus in psychological, drama and vampires.
The protagonist seeks revenge for something that happened to him. Both have an outstanding soundtrack and voice actors, as well a very unique art, where the outfits are great.
Although, Shiki is very slow paced and Kuroshitsuji fast paced, they will both leave you addicted if you watch them until the end~~
