Both are about young girls looking for their place in the world while doing something very unusual and being unusual themselves. Kobato is collecting hearts to reach a certaing goal, Yurie is traing to be a real god but both of them keep their childish innocence and view on life even though their jobs are quite difficult and very serious and important. Both girls are similiar in nature and the way they handle their problems. Kobato is more of a drama than Kamichu! while Kamichu! is mainly a comedy.
