General:
Both series have almost the same set up, very similar poetic, existential theme and both put a great focus into visual experience (though Artiswitch is 3d).
Details:
In both series there is a someone, who helps people. Every episode there is a person with some kind of life problems. Sometimes it's very realistic, sometimes it gets a little abstract (more in Artiswitch), but definitely both series are a little existential and aspire to "make you think".
Also both series rely very heavily on visuals - they tell part of the story through it using symbolism and metaphors, so I would even say they are poetic.
