-Revolving around, and heavily taking part in the country of Egypt.
-Flamboyant and unique character designs, can spot a Jojo or Yugioh character a mile off, recognisable art styles.
-Lovable characters, high stakes and deep ties of friendship.
Although not glaringly alike, I've noticed a huge cross over in the fandoms of these two series, I can see why as both also appeal to me! I recommend checking out the other if you're super into one of these!

In both anime, the protagonists travel to Egypt in order to find solutions to problems that are related to the main character's past. They focus a lot on Egyptian symbolism and mythology, and have many battles with are usually won through characters outsmarting their opponents. Also, both anime are remakes of their older versions, and are based on manga published by Shounen Jump.
