Aria is an actionless twist from normal sci-fi genre which usually come bundled with action. Well of course Aria is chilled slice-of-life, but if that actionless, blood-deboiling moments make you overlook its sci-finess then you are not familiar with British soap. And yes sci-fi get along well with comedy, slice-of-life, romance, and actionless drama too. Sci-fi no longer serve purpose as a genre in 2011, it's more like a setting.
