Both anime are calming and populated with kind, cute girls. The protagonist in both anime is an insecure, kind girl with very high emotional intelligence who just entered the workforce in a new professsion. Both series deal with both customers and colleagues of the same profession. Both animes have semi-episodic structure with recurring cast. Both anime are about personal growth and learning in the job. Both anime qualify for the Iyashikei (healing anime) genre.
