Hikari to Mizu no Daphne

Both shows take place on a mostly flooded planet, in a city built in the sea.
In these cities, some girls are living their daily lives and do more or less odd jobs. Both their professions are named after legendary water spirits (Undines in Aria, Nereids in Daphne).
The protagonists Akari Mizunashi (Aria) and Maia Mizuki (Daphne) have similar age, appearances and personalities. Both start into their new job at the beginning of the series, and move into the upper floor of their working place. From there, they slowly learn the tricks of their new trade.
