1. Both heroines start off with a love interest that betrays them deeply which causes them to resent that person and act on revenge, vengeance.
2. Both heroines start off weak and slightly annoying and then by the end of the series, they are both BAD-ASS and awesome!
3. Not a whole lot of romance in both, but just enough to keep you watching the next ep.
4. Second love interest is disliked at first, but then the main character grows to like them.
Skip beat is about showbiz while Aka no Yona is slightly historical and more action-packed. BOTH AMAZING!!!

-Both of the female protagonists used to weak, but developed into confident and strong characters.
-They were betrayed by their loved one, and sought revenge.
-While Akatsuki no Yona is more of an adventure anime, Skip Beat is about the acting and the entertainment industry.
-They throw in a bit of romance here and there (but not all the time)
Both are great animes to watch if you're a rom-com fan.
Love, betrayal, and revenge. These feelings become the driving force behind Yona and Kyoko's development. By being betrayed by those they cared most, Yona and Kyoko embark on a journey to essentially plot their revenge. Initially seen as weak, delusional, and sheltered, both female protagonist strive to make changes in their life. Through the course of their journey, trustworthy friendships are formed, including new love interests (which Yona and Kyoko are oblivious to). Courage and strength are slowly gained by the female protagonists, but during moments of doubt and weakness, they are support immensely by the male leads.
Both series does a great job to

I swear to god, this anime is the SAME SHIT as Skip Beat.
Both of the main characters (Yona and Kyoko) start off as pussies who are weak as shit, and essentially dedicate their lives to a guy that they've fallen for (Su-won and Sho).
PLOT TWIST, both of these guys are certified cunts and only want to use the main character for their own benefit.
MC realises she's an independent woman™ and is now dedicating her life to revenge.
But, we never find out if they end up achieving their goal because they both have B U L L S H I T 'go read the

Ok now bare with me on this one:
Similarities:
+both are Reverse Harems (although skip beat typically isn't seen as a reverse harem so this is more my opinion on this one)
+both have someone betray/ use them and swear to get over it by becoming stronger.
+this is a small thing, but they both have a sort of smart side character that sort of shakes their head when one of the main love interest's feelings are not conveyed. This guy is the smart planning type of person. I won't say who these characters are, but maybe after watching the two series, you'll also come to the same

Both anime share an engaging, on-the-edge-of-your-seat storyline. Both are also very enjoyable. Both are also comedies.
Both shows are well paced, knowing when to be dramatic, romantic, or funny, and making it seem natural when they do.
