Settings of both are not placed in a usual modern day looking setting as well.
One of the biggest differences would be that Shinigami's female MC appeals with a sexy and seducing charm whereas Taishou's female MC appeals with a cute and innocent charm.

Luckily, a female protagonist is sent to provide the male with care; Ultimately, allowing the most unique, sensual, and beautiful kind of love to bloom between them.

Concepts are pretty much identical, the son of an important family gets sent to a seperate mansion very far away, his family ignores his existence but sends a maid to take care of him and she saves him from depression. Both animes are so wholesome and give off the same vibes and I love the relationships they follow. If you loved one of those two romance stories then you'll love the other one as well.
They both have a depressed shut-in MC who learns to love life again after meeting a girl who lives with him. They are romantic comedies focussing on one couple. They both came out in 2021.
Very similar to shinigami bochan because the MC is very hopeless and hates everything. His family also hated him and dumped him. But only a girl who suddenly came to his place liked him and wanted to take care of him. And both are in the old timeline. The difference here is that there is no magic and the MC just lives alone on the mountain.
In both animes, the main characters address themselves as living corpses and have a hard time living while encounter a girl who starts taking care of them and slowly they fall in love with each other.

In both animes, there is a boy who is tired of his torturous life and wishes for his death until a girl comes to take care of him and he loves her too.
