The interaction and chemistry between Kaoru and Kenshin is almost exactly the same as Yukino's and Arima's. Similar art style and slapstick comedy with a dash of romance and a very dark childhood past haunting the male lead. If you enjoyed RK's somber yet funny atmosphere, Kare Kano is a recommended watch. Make sure you read the manga to follow up on the story.
