The friendship between the 3 main characters in this reminded me of the girl who leapt through time, obviously the place promised is much more serious.

A wonderful coming of age series for fans who enjoy watching movies on weekends; both of these two movies are good examples of such.
Both of these movies have a great touching, compelling story that can be understood and be related in many people's views. With a well crafted plot, the feelings of both of these movies are also quite similar.
There's also that surreal atmosphere mixed in with comedy, drama, and romance.
