They're both original shows by director Satou Junichi that feature a girl following the path to achieve her dream. In Princess Tutu, Ahiru wants to become a great ballet dancer; in Kaleido Star, Sora wants to become part of a Circus.
Ahiru and Sora can be sloppy, but get serious when they need to and are always ready to give their all for a presentation. Their relationship with their rival is also similar - admiration, rivalry and somewhat friendship and care.
Original stories written and directed by the genius moe director satou junichi , the both main character trying hard to achieve their dreams , and a both animes have so melodramatic storrytelling
both stories are based around entertainment as well as also both being from hal film maker too and also both have fairy tale elements in it as well too.
