Both have gender swapped historical figures (in Sengoku Otome they're from the Sengoku Era, while in Koihime Musou they're from the chinese Romance of the Three Kingdoms), an almost all female cast with some random yuri and a bit of ecchi/comedy.
Sengoku Otome has more plot though, while Koihime Musou is more like a slice of life than anything.
