Most of the ToraDora! staff returns to make AnoHana. With a similar comedic yet melancholic feel to every episode and the effect of seeing noticeably alike character designs, you can't go too far into either series without noticing that the other shares analogous characteristics. ToraDora! is for those who prefer realistic and well-paced drama while AnoHana holds true for the opposite.
Both Toradora and AnoHana have the same incredible art work as well as characters that you really grow to care for. Toradora has more humor, but AnoHana has more depth. Both great watches.

Similar character designs, lots of emotional scenes. Both are good drama shows with excellent characters.
The feel you get after watching both are the same. There's drama, tears, romance, funny moments, love triangles, and friendship.

Both are charcter-driven stories revolving around a circle of friends dealing with their complexes. Both series also include love triangles and similar animation.
And both will also make you cry. A LOT. (mostly in a good way)
