these two are in more than one way similar
both have an ensemble cast, with the main girls introduced in the first episode plus another one in later episodes (Ami for Toradora introduced in ep5, Yuiina is Hanasaku Iroha introduced in ep4), both animes seem to have a cliche story at first but then turn out to be very unique with amazing story writing and character development, the characters are not similar though. both series also have potential love couples introduced in the first episode but then through the anime things get mixed up, you don't know who will end up with who...the art in
