Karakai Jouzo no Takagi-san is a masterpiece. I watched it before Toradora and was the second anime that made me happy in a tough moment. It's also about a slice of life but with a focus on two kids growing up. There are friendship, provocations, and mind games. Everything is so sweet. If you liked Toradora, this other anime is an almost sure recommendation.
