GSNK is a very popular anime right now and we all know why; because it's just too funny and has the most adorable characters ever! So if you love dorky characters and their shenanigans then Toradora! is just the right next anime for you. Toradora! has a lot more drama and romance but it will make you cry happy tears by the end of it.

Toradora and Monthly Girls' only real similarity is the dynamic combination of a dude who doesn't seem like a lot, but actually has a ton of interesting features about himself compared to a girl who is a lot more simpler than their partner in the anime.
What ends up being something of a huge gap when comparing does at least have the rom-com features which make them so very highly loved. What is said to be a good parody of romance and an actual masterful romance work is what the two sides of the coin have to offer in serious work and a comedic one.
