In terms of the main leads' romance, these two are very similar.
In Nanatsu no Taizai / Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas is in love with the main FL lead, Elizabeth, the spitting image of his former lover, Liz. That is where Sugar Apple Fairy Tale has in common as Challe here has a deep affection (aka love) for Anne, who is also the spitting image of his former, beloved owner, Liz, by pure coincidence.
Honestly, at this rate, I wouldn't even be surprised if the mangaka who wrote Sugar Apple Fairy Tale was inspired by Meliodas & Elizabeth's epic romance story lol.
