Inclusion of "another world" of some sort featuring a female main cast and just in general, a female dominant cast. Both contain unique concepts and creatures that are not only keep the series more memorable but add to the story itself.
Are about a bunch of girls exploring (and fighting) a world beyond their comprehension while they form a wholesome bond with one another.

-lots of action
-contains elements of shoujo ai (although WEP isnt a shoujo ai there are some elements of it seen in the anime)
-a few differences are:
WEP is a lot darker and has brighter colors
imo WEP is a lot slower paced than urasekai
The characters are more developed in WEP than in urasekai (once again my opinion)
