Both about a grumpy buff guy and a girl with certain features that I can not get further into, being in a tense friendship with a bit of emotions sprinkled on the top. Uzaki-chan we Asobitai is however more of just a general comedy with bits of romcom elements in it, rather than the main focus.
The male main characters of Junichirou and Sakurai are really similar, and the supporting cast of both series (Misuzu and Carol and Ami and the blond guy respectively) also fill very similar purposes in both shows. The female main characters however, have some similarities here and there but are
