Both shows have a very similar feel to it, especially the characters. A tough and very strong, but also very kind adult protagonist looking for a specific person/place travels with a girl, who is looking for her older brother. He is frequently helped by a busty, flirtatious woman, who is often manipulative but secretly likes him and sometimes by an edgy, revenge-obsessed guy.

Wendy-Van relationship chemistry is very much similar to that of Sophie-Sword.
Both Wendy and Sophie are looking for their brothers and along the way they meet lonely figures of Van and Sword.
