Young girls presented in an idol-like magical girl fashion while having to fight a particular threat. The story primarily focuses on the experience of a cold and timid (also quite shy) girl and a cheerful and extroverted girl, with them trying to learn how to connect with people while developing a 'special' bond towards each other.
In contrast to that, the only difference is the setting and concepts used, so I am fairly sure that anyone would find either enjoyable if they find one interesting.

Both focus on the friendship between two magical girls. One is more cheerful and has short hair, and the other is more reserved and has long hair.
