These shows are very similar in sense that, both girls try to make friends and both guardians can beat up anyone try to hurt these girls.
But the main reason for recommendation is that they both give a same wholesome vibe.
Both anime focus on the relationship between the main character and a child who needs protection and care. In Kumichou no Musume to Sewagakari, the protagonist, who works as a bodyguard for a yakuza family, is forced to take care of his boss's daughter, while in Uchi no Ko no Tame Naraba, the protagonist, a strong adventurer, adopts a demon girl and is willing to do anything to protect her. The theme of protecting children and striving to give them the best is deeply explored in both of these stories.
