-Both feature an interesting take on the animal society.
-Both have an amazing soundtrack and fitting animation.
Although I think Beastars treats itself a lot more seriously, BNA also has a lot of those ''reflection time'' moments.
While both havw animal protagonists, they differ from the first being a consequence of evolution while in BNA we get introduced to humans that are able to transform to their animal form, my main comparison between this two is how they handle discrimination and the doble morals of society in their respective worlds via antropomorfic animals, yet again BNA advances at a way more faster pace than beastars but if you liked the later you'll more than likely also enjoy BNA, it do is worth a shot.
Both shows have something to do with animals in a society, have very interesting animal characters and interesting plots, if you watched Beastars i really recommend give Brand New Animal a go, i'm almost sure that you will like it.
Anthropomorphic society division. Beastars and BNA both give a protagonist who has to deal with prejudice from their peer race due to their race.
With Beastars, carnivores are looked down upon due to their dangerous natures and are made to force themselves against their instincts for the sake of herbivores and the safety of society. BNA is similar to this approach in that beastman are looked down upon by humans, however, beastman are made to be inferior to humans. Both anime have the same concept of oppressing races, in which protagonists Legoshi and Michiru try to fight against the oppression and societal standards.
Both anime are

2 anime with furry main characters and a plot revolving around discrimination you can find on Netflix.
Both series touch upon inequality and how it negatively affects peoples lives. Also, if dark stuff like that isn't your thing, they both have cool wolves. Everyone likes wolves. Even you.

- both have a theme of segregation using animal people
- while the story is different they both get you emotionally invested in the characters

Beastars and BNA to me, are quite similar. They both are based off of animal-like people/animals. If you are interested in that aspect this would be a good watch. Also, one of the main characters in BNA is a wolf, like Legoshi in Beastars. They have a similar setting, a city/world divided by differences. Even though BNA is not really romantic like Beastars they share similarities in overall presentation. I like BNA because of the animation, the visuals are really pretty and they use eye-catching color palettes. I enjoy the character design in both. I favor the animal "theme" because it is different from other

Animal main characters! Not similar at all actually but if you love to see anthros/ furries as characters BNA is perfect! BNA has great songs, animation and characters. It is aesthetically pleasing when it comes to use of colors.
The obvious comparison is the anthro animal characters, although their designs and art style are quite different. They both include conflict and/or prejudice between two distinct groups, in BNA it's humans and Beastmen (the anthro characters), while Beastars has carnivores against herbivores, since humans don't exist in that universe. The prejudice is much more extreme in BNA, to the point of having the main character having to run away from home and find safety in an all beastmen city.
Both of them also feature a quiet grey wolf MC. Legoshi from Beastars is very honest, polite and a little awkward, but in a relatable way, while

Both are about talking animals however Beastars is more mature and BNA is more colorful.
Both have characters with either anime features or that are anthropomorphised animals. Both use animals as a means of exploring issues with our own society, though to different lengths. And both have a wolf character.

Beastars and BNA have a lot of overlap in their respective concepts. They share little actual content (there are no rehashes of the same idea) but they are both just, "What if furry were... real???" in a sense. I would recommend BNA before Beastars because with the intensity of Beastars, it might dull the senses (only a little) to BNA's ideas. Beastars also has a greater feeling of realism, whereas BNA has more of a detached, book-like feeling when watching. Again, BNA before Beastars (writing this before either has received a second season; I imagine the greater length would tire one out so maybe watch

Anthropomorphic animals, corruption, violence and an attempt to deal with other species in peace in the same territory.
BNA often have comedy and exaggerated scenes.
Beastars is a very deep and tense anime, which can make you reflect on the fictional and ours society.
Its also playing in a Animal society that is similar to the human society, with one twist... there are also humans, so an whole city got build for them
- wolf-ish main characters
- has to do with anthropomorphic characters
- different conflicts in each though
- great OPs and EDs and voice acting
BNA has a very, very, VERY similar thing going on with inter-societal conflicts. Also... FURRIES. Each show is high quality as well.

This one will satisfy your need for furries. It's style is bouncier, it's sillier and more fantastical, there are some one-shotty filler episodes here and there, but there are certainly animal people in it... and that good good drama as well!
Good watch, great art, awesome music, cute & relatable characters. Very nice show ESPECIALLY if you're craving more animal people... also a super good chillaxer after witnessing the beautiful Beastars angst-fest 👍
IF you looking for another anime that is well written, and has that overall "anthro" theme to it, look no further to Beastars. The premice of both the shows are widely different, while one being an aciton one, while the other being a drama, i highly enjoyed both of these shows.
