Both shows were made by the same studio, Doga Kobo, known for making many cute and cute animes. Both shows have short stories, alternating a very well done and functional comedy. Senko-san is more outgoing, as he tells the daily life of a man who always gets tired at the end of his job. This changes when he meets Senko, a magical Kitsune, who decides to help him alleviate his problems. Maoujou de Oyasumi basically involves a princess trapped in a castle, where the only thing she does is sleep (or look for a better way to sleep).
