There are a few similarities between them and give off the
same vibe while watching.
They both are:
- supernatural
-brutal and tragic
-not afraid to kill off characters
-slow paced
-mature in content
-a lustful teenage boy as main
Both have had characters who have their lives changed randomly out of nowhere one day and are caught up in a strange and chaotic action scenario too.

Both are very similar in terms of their world and characters. Both has crazy action sequences and philosophical motivations behind them.

Both feature a protagonist who goes through a "life changing" experience and have to go on life-threatening missions and meet interesting new characters. Both protagonists are teenagers craving female touch. The stories (overall) are avant-garde and hold nothing back. Gore.
