The Fire Hunter and Demon Slayer at face value are dissimilar shows. However, in terms of how they are made, they are foils to each other. Demon Slayer's chief criticism is its shallow writing in spite of its superb animation. The vice versa is true for the Fire Hunter. A viewer watching both can have a very clear experience on what a show that has one but not the other would feel like. It may aid in answering a common question: "Which do you prefer: a show with good visuals but bad writing? Or a show with good writing but bad visuals?"
