If you value a lot of comedy in your romcoms as well as a lot of chemistry between the main romantic interests I’d say either one of these shows are up your alley.
Both are set in high school but don’t feel childish like a lot of high school romances do, and both made me laugh as much as root for the romance.
A highlight of both series is also their supporting casts of characters who add just as much to the shows as their respective main couplings.

- the driving plot is getting someone or both in the "will they, won't they" couple to admit they have feelings & both shows do a great job at keeping it fresh with the side characters/keeping the show more dimensional to avoid it getting stale and boring from the "will they, won't they" continuing on
