Popular girl with unpopular guy, both animes focus on "chasing" phase rather than "dating". However, while Love is War focuces on mind games between characters, My Dress-up Darling is rather chill and way more wholesome - only character dynamic and the way romance is executed is similar in these animes.
I recommend both of these shows individually, but going from one to the other is a great jumping off point. Both shows are geared more toward the wholesome part of the RomCom spectrum, but it should be no surprise that Dress Up Darling still dips its toes into fan service given the nature of cosplay and what that entails on social media. Despite this, Kaguya and Dress Up Darling are top tier RomComs.
One aspect of this recommendation that must not be overlooked is the English Dub for both are really good. I would argue the English Dub for Kaguya is better than the subbed version
