Do you like yuri? Do you crave violence? Especially with guns? Well do I have the show for you.
Both anime focus on (a duo of) teenage girls that are used as soldiers/ killers in order to maintain peace. Of the two shows, "Magical Girl Spec-Ops: Asuka" is by far the darker one, featuring graphic violence, torture, and disturbing backstories, while "Lycoris Recoil" maintains more of an equilibrium between CGDCT and gun fights.
Both shows have a lot of yuri undertones, but "Magical Girl Spec-Ops: Asuka" elaborates more on them.
