Both main leads are kids and you can see family issues through their eyes. It seems like a sweet and easygoing anime but touches on some dark themes.
At first you'll not noticed about similarities of these anime. But at the their story progresses, you'll find sort of similarities. Both anime tackle about their family issues, abuse and other factors of being in the family. They gave you a vibe that just you thought it was a chill anime but in the end you'll expect that it has a dark depressing plot.
