Honestly, the only two similarities between these two anime are the fact that they have vivid, ravishing, elegant animation to their stories at play, and I'd like to think that said animation greatly enhances everything in these two anime, from more impactful storytelling and conveying of feels. Otherwise, there isn't a lot more to go on about.
The two stories are there for those looking for action with passion built into the very veins of these shows. One side is the Japanese way, with the other the Chinese way. Good historical works and representations too.

Both are humans vs Demons with beautifully animated fights. Wu Shan Wu Xing is a lot faster paced and has alot of action. It's a Chinese anime so quite a different style of animation to Japanese anime however once you get used to the style the fights look amazing.

chinese anime with Amazing fight scenes the animation is unique if you enjoyed avatar the last airbender its similiar peoples can get power of fire , water , wood , steal , earth to fight monsters
