• After watching Vinland Saga if you are carving for most realistic history drama set in Europe than watch Orb: On the moment of the earth.
• Both the anime are quite philosophical and feels very real since both are inspired or loosely based on real life events.
• Both the anime have similar vibe. The art and animation in both the anime is beautiful as well.
- Both depict the harsh realities of living in a historical European setting with minimal censorship (Orb being set in 15th century Poland and Vinland Saga being set in ~10th Century North-west Europe).
- Both show heavy Church/religious involvement within their respective societies and how these beliefs influence people to act as they do.
- Both have a very similar vibe in terms of art style and colour palette. Both feel somewhat dark, grounded and heavy.
- Both feature main characters who desire more from the world than what they can currently acceptably obtain and showcases the lengths they are willing to go for this.
