Both main characters we follow as they grow into a cognitive character, and as they develop emotions and bonds. Also ties in with the supernatural, and the hardships of side characters met along the way.

The main protagonist of Dororo and Fumetsu no Anata e can't be described as "human", but they try to learn and adapt to become like them. Also, the vibes of the shows are very similar.

-Both of the main characters are very similar, in the way they "lack" human characteristics, such as talking. -Both of them are settled in ancient times -In both stories we can see tragic things happening -In fumetsu no anata e there's a child that looks like dororo -I would say both of them are pretty entertaining

- Both protagonists know next to nothing of the world, and learn about it through traveling and meeting new people. - Both protagonists have some sort of inhuman ability. - The dynamic between Fushi and March is very similar to the dynamic between Hyakkimaru and Dororo.

- ancient settings with an abundance of people living miserable lives - the MCs in both series start off as empty, emotionless, and unresponsive to human interactions - the MCs have supernatural powers which they use to survive the world - they fight evil beings, Demons in Dororo and Knockers in To Your Eternity - by traveling the world they gain the missing human characteristics - their presence unintentionally cause the death of several characters

- Protagonists that learn from their side characters - Painful and emotional sub-stories and arcs. - Pain.

Both about about two people becoming human, making connections and figuring out their own lives. Dororo is about someone regaining what they lost and discovering themselves along the way whereas To Your Eternity is about an orb learning about the world and what humanity really is. They're both on a quest to become and find out what it really means to be human.

Both have the main characters on an extremely thought-provoking journey, incredible action sequences, and heartbreaking moments.

The protagonist in both gain something through their journey - hyakkimaru regains his body, while fushi takes the form of anything that leaves a strong impression.

-Both are action/adventure/supernatural shows with protagonists that know little or nothing of the real world.. -Both protagonists learn and bond with the people they encounter along the way. -Both are tearjerkers
report Recommended by misprout
Both stories are about the main character growing and making bonds with those around him. There's also a supernatural element to both of these shows.

They both have a main character trying to find their way in the world and trying to learn human emotions and function as a human.
report Recommended by HollowOne
Both follow a character with limited knowledge of the world, taught by a small child.

childrens taking care of some creature that happens to seem human (and is trying to be human somehow)

Bot are tales of an inhuman creature becoming human. Both have fairy tale vibes and a more or less historical setting. More detail: An immortal/demonic/superhuman/inhuman protagonist on a journey to become "human". Both are strange acting/mysterious protagonists with a very young sidekick that teaches it how to be human. Dororo focuses on the regaining of senses and limbs while Fushi has all of its senses and limbs but has to try and become human socially speaking. Dororo is set in historical samurai era japan.

in both the protagonists have problematic defective body parts and are on a mission with allies

I think Fumetsu no Anata e is similar to Dororo, in the aspect that both of the main characters are, in the beginning, exploring the world alone while trying to understand their feelings and such. Both series are good and worth a try.

It has the same feeling. The pain, the loss, the gain, Becoming more human with each episode. Dororo and Marchi are very similar, as are Fushi and Hyakkimaru.
