Both feature cute, overpowered girls in fantasy RPG-like settings. BOFURI takes place inside a video game and Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne is all in reality (reality for the show anyway, it's in a fantasy setting), but they have similar vibes. If you like one, you'll likely enjoy the other!
Both shows have similar protagonists
- Little Girl
- Overpowered
- Ditz
Bofuri obviously feels more like a video game, where the stakes are much less severe and the adventures are all in good fun.
Average Abilities takes place in a conventional fantasy setting and as such their lives are on the line.
While the pacing of Bofuri feels natural and calm, Average Abilities feels very sudden.
