Both Plastic Nee-san and DMC are comedic shows in a sense that they follow a similar format, both being short series that consist of 12 episodes with no extensions. They also have similar art-styles, both being relatively low budget productions; the animation is lacking but that does not take away from the comedy, which is the main goal of both shows. DMC was produced by Studio 4°C while Plastic Nee-san was done by TYO Animations; the less known of the two studios.
