Both are really similar in :
- Learning to trust each others
- Passion (sport meaning) is the key
- BL/Bromance vibe
- Realistic scenario
- Dealing with struggles
- Friendship
Both are showcasing high school boys who do a specific sport (running and Japanese archery) and their struggles to form bonds with their teammates. They both have young coaches and teammates who have injured themselves previously. Some of the characters are similar too. Both animes are warm-hearted and slower paced than your usual sports anime, with no "extra special techniques" with fancy names and colorful moves.
Both shows have a main character who is melancholy and withdrawn at first, due to stepping back from competition in the sport they love. Both shows focus on the camaraderie that slowly builds and can overcome past hurts. They have a more serious tone than many sports anime and both have some philosophical and artistic musings over the beauty of the sport they practice.
both are good sports animes that rely on the characters' feelings, insecurities, development and their relationships with each other. they are beautiful and full of feelings.
Both sports shows deal with the building of successful relationships between the within the main team

The energy of these anime is remarkable similar, despite their obvious differences. The psychological elements and realism were incorporated into the story; featuring in both quite a lot. After completing Tsurune, I watched Run with the Wind afterwards, and I cannot imagine a better anime to watch after Tsurune. Personally, I think that Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru is the better anime, but Tsurune is by no means bad; is is a lovely anime if you're looking for a quick watch.
Both animes focus on the main characters' personal concerns and struggles with their respective sport.
similar vibe with how the show tackles the story. the sport allows the characters to grow as a person, and this growth in turn allows them to perform better at the sport. both have very likeable characters, each of which are very distinct and grow in some shape of form.
both mc's are already good at their respective sport, but have to overcome some obstacles. they are also both reluctant to pick up their sport again.
ultimately, both sports do not entertain through high action, but the emotion behind every simple step.
also both made me cry multiple times
They are both about talented individuals trying to find their place on a new team and reach their full potential.
They have a similar style, and if you enjoyed one, I'd definitely give the other a shot.
Both start off with main characters who refuse to participate in a sport that they once loved, but through encounters with a new team, learn to fall in love with the sport once again.
