Similar premise - young naive girl is put under care of an older character with a shady occupation. However, Hinamatsuri generally outshines Spy x Family by having more enjoyable and characterized characters and a visually more intriguing art style and animation. The comedic hijinks in Hinamatsuri are enhanced by a plot that simply doesn't take itself super seriously and avoids having to suspend your disbelief for episodes at a time. And simply, it's more fun.
Both series start with a unique premise, where the male lead character, with a shady job, involuntarily starts raising a child with superpowers. This crazy mix leads to some fun, wholesome, and unpredictable sub-plots.
Now, as we all know; with great power comes great responsibility, and when you have to raise a problematic child with said great power, the responsibility becomes even bigger. Misunderstandings are par for the course and lead to comedic situations, that will leave you gasping for air from too much laughing.

The two revolve around taking care of a new daughter. Both of which have a serious main plot and continue to progress, but accompanied by comedic humor in everyday life that will make you laugh and enjoy it every second.
They're both slice of life comedy anime that revolve around a young, esper girl being adopted by a man with a shady profession.
While Spy x Family focuses more on the main cast, Hinamatsuri focuses more on the main and side characters.

Both shows feature a diligent, no-nonsense and badass father taking care of a clumsy and troublesome daughter with superpowers. Both have seperate arcs with the father doing shady businesses and the daughter at school and it is absolutely hilarious to see these two worlds cross paths and how father and daughter both help and trouble each other in unexpected ways.

Bad ass single dad scenario with an adoptive daughter, lots of comedy. Hinamatsuri has more slapstick and situational humor, so it feels lighter to watch - while Spy x Family challenges what it means to be an actual family. Hina is also more nonchalant and laid back about life, whereas Anya has the spirit, brilliance, and determination of an adult trapped in a child's body.
SxF and Hinamatsuri involves adopting a little girl with supernatural powers . They are both funny and have good parental interactions.
Hinamatsuri have good comedy and emotional moments while SxF have good comedy, action and animation. If you love SxF you should definitely check Hinamatsuri
weird kid with superpowers, weird family, and more a lot of weird people in both of the anime.
Hinamatsuri is more absurd type than Spy x Family, but both is really funny
