Otaku. The otaku culture is known to all who watch anime, a little more so than the average bystander. This presentation of the otaku, alongside some real behaviour and interactions is something of an element Koikimo and Wotakoi plays into.
As it says on the tin with Wotakoi, basically otakus falling in love. Koikimo is a little different and is more of a sub-element that gets mixed into the iffy love affairs it plays with.

It's funny and heartwarming. Its also relatable especially as they portray different types of relationship stages and Otaku life.
