Both anime are about "gods" (Soul Eater: Shinigami). In both anime, some characters can change into a weapon and be used by their partner. In both anime, the "gods" (can) fight some sort of a monster that isn't human or another normal animal. They're also fun to watch. :)
1 person weilding another person who can turn into a weapon, It has that Bones humor where its really animated but really tries to put away the humor for serious moments. Animation is subpar for todays standards in noragami's case
Both anime have protagonists that fight against supernatural monsters and human weapon partners. Both have kickass characters. They also use the same type of humor.
Taking on a supernatural perspective, Soul Eater and Noragami deals with Gods and powers beyond our imaginations.
In battle, characters are able to wield weapons that are incarnations of their partners. As flashy as it sounds, they offer a host of powerful abilities that can turn the tide of a battle.
The main characters from both series has a hotblooded personality but is down to earth when it comes to casual conversations. At the same time, they do truly care about their partners and the people around them.
Common elements:
[x] Deep exploration between friendship and partnership
[x] Weapons and humans
[x] Comical relief
[x] Supernatural causes
[x] Colourful cast of characters that act neither black or white to add complexity
[x] Solving cases to make the world a better place
[x] Carry action packed scenes in each episode
Watch Soul Eater if:
You want a story about learning and changing oneself and dealing with other characters relationships. It follows different characters and each having their own unique perspective. It is more heavier on action, and the art style is more simple, but it has a nice halloween feel to it.
Watch Noragami if:
You want to match comedy and action, and are

Both anime has the same "style". there are people who turn into a weapon and the owner tries to kill the soul/phantom. Also the art has big meaning in both anime. We can find something special in every characters appearance in Soul Eater (for instance, Soul's teeth or Maka's eyes), the same is with Noragami's characters (Yato's eyes, Yukine's hair and eyes, Hiyori's "tail").
And they are enjoyable too.
Same humor, same animation studio and in both animes, a "person" become to a weapon.
Both contain the idea of having a person be able to turn into weapon, and using that weapon to slay some kind of spirit. There's also the possibility for corruption in both shows, as well as both portraying the relation between master and weapon.
Similarities: They both contain almost the same battle scene structure "human like" turns into a weapon.
The one that holds the weapon both are the "masters"
Both are related to some sort of "God/Demon/Spirit" themes story
They both contain comedy and a love story of some kind.
The differences are that Soul Eater involves a group a kids going to a particular school to be train for a job and Noragami deals with a God doing particular jobs and hunting demons while trying to help the Human/Spirit "friend."
Both involve a person who can use another person as a weapon. Both have solid character development, although Soul Eater's takes a little longer (it is 51 episodes). Good action sequences.

Both are funny stories that deal with the main characters using other people's soul as a weapon.
Both have main protagonist bound to a weapon that also has a human form. In Soul Eater, they use these weapons to defeat 'demons'. In Noragami, they fight 'phantoms'. There's an immediate understanding that souls can be consumed by darkness. Not only do main characters run into these dark beings, but they encounter other people paired up with a weapon that has human-form. The lead characters in both are especially motivated. Putting in hard work towards their personal goal. The music is also similar in both shows. That might be because they come from the same studio, Bones.
Both series are involved with people turning into weapons and their connection with their master and both series are invovled with deafeating evil spirits their are many similarities with their plot and setting and ideas.

Soul Eater use people weapons premise. In Soul Eater, they use these weapons to defeat 'demons'. In Noragami, they fight 'phantoms'.
Soul Eater is a lot darker (while still managing to maintain the chill vibe and good comedy)
Taking on a supernatural perspective, Soul Eater and Noragami deals with Gods and powers beyond our imaginations.
Both of these anime follow a similar genre of comedy matched with action based scenes that are important to the plot itself. While they are mostly action and comedy oriented, the characters are still incredible and make you fall in love with them.
- People turning into weapons
- Fighting monsters in a world similar to the real one (although Soul Eater is more fantasy)
- Good amount of comedy
In Soul Eater, Death Scythes can turn into weapons and are used by Meisters.
In Noragami, Regalias can turn into weapons and are used by Gods.
They are both animated by Bones.
Coincidence? I think not.

Soul Eater and Noragami are both animated by Bones, but there’s quite a lot of similarities between the two, even if it doesn’t look like it at the beginning.
Both anime revolve around human weapons and gods (shinigami in Soul Eater’s case). The comedy and feeling is very similar in both, with Soul Eater being a bit more over the top IMO. The characters are similar too. Yato reminds me of Soul Eater Evans and Hiyori reminds me of Maka. The art styles are very different, however. Noragami has a normal anime artstyle, while Soul Eater has a more cartoonish artstyle.

-Same Animation Company (Bones)
-The idea of a weapon being both that and a person is also used in Noragami
-Good mix of Action and Comedy
P.S- Both of these animes have mangas that are better lmao
Both of these have wielders of weapon shifters, whereas Yato is a god and Yukine is a Shinki, in Soul Eater, there exist Death Scythes like Soul Eater, Tsubaki, and the Thompson sisters, and those who wield them(Death the kid and Maka).
Both contain comedic charms and lovable and stupid characters that we can’t help but fall in love with.
Both dive into the struggles of partnerships between friends and strangers, and what it is people are willing to sacrifice to achieve popularity or win a fight.
All in all, Noragami and Soul Eater have the same basic premise of “I want to get stronger but until
